Hermitage Old Ladies: from Red to Grey

Today in Russia the unique conjunction of rapidly aging and relatively poor populations is dramatically increasing. After the collapse of the Soviet Union, pension spending was cut and market prices were introduced. As the result, many elder people are forced to find a new job.
At Hermitage, one of the most impressive and magnificent imperial palace I've ever seen, you can find an example of this phenomenon: old ladies are working as guardians in any single room.
